How It Works?

We are here to help you through the process of hiring a full-time maid, domestic workers or with visa services.

If this is the first time you are sponsoring a maid or dependent, you need to open a sponsor file. The process takes about 24 hours, after which you will receive a notification via SMS confirming the approval.

You must apply for an entry permit for your domestic worker. This step is pivotal for the worker to legally enter and stay in the UAE. Notifications regarding approval will be relayed through SMS, and the employment visa will be delivered via email.

Ensure that your domestic worker undergoes a medical fitness test at an approved government health center. This step is mandatory for the issuance of the residence visa.

An application for the Emirates ID is essential for the residence visa. If the domestic worker is a first-time applicant, biometric data must be submitted within 10 days from the application date.

The final step is applying for the residency visa. Once the application is approved, a residence visa stamp will be placed in the worker’s passport, signaling the completion of the sponsorship process. The validity of this visa is usually for two years for Emirati sponsors.

As an expat sponsor, you need to provide a suite of documents including your passport and residency visa copies, Emirates ID, proof of income or employment, and accommodation details, among others.

Similar to the Emirati sponsor, you must apply for an entry permit for your domestic worker. This permit allows the worker to enter the UAE and stay legally until the residency visa is processed.

The domestic worker must undergo a medical fitness test in a government-approved health center. Concurrently, you should apply for the worker’s Emirates ID, which involves biometric and photographic documentation.

Acquire medical insurance for your domestic worker, which is a prerequisite for completing the residency visa process. The policy should be issued after the labor contract is signed and the medical fitness certificate is obtained.

The final step involves applying for the residency visa and drafting the employment contract as per the UAE’s regulations. Once approved, the residency visa will be stamped on the worker’s passport. The residency visa for expats is typically valid for one year.

Domestic workers are required to pass medical fitness tests in the UAE, which usually include screenings for infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, among others.

The renewal process involves submitting a renewal application, ensuring the worker undergoes a medical fitness test, updating the Emirates ID, and paying the necessary fees. The worker's passport must then be stamped with the new visa.
